Initiate: You gain esoteric gnosis with all spells of the Curriculum, which allows you to treat your magical skill as double its normal rank for the purposes of learning these spells. You may memorize a single spell (see below).
Heroic: You’ve mastered the ability to store spells as patterns of energy in the mind. This allows you to memorize a number of spells equal to your ranks in Concentration + Intelligence modifier. Doing so requires an entire day of uninterrupted meditation, access to the spell tomes of the spells in question, and removes all previously memorized spells from your mind. At the conclusion of the day you must ‘cast’ each spell, requiring the normal number of soul points. Rather than being actually cast, each such spell is paused before the moment of its completion, entering your mind.
At a future time you may expend the spells from your mind, completing the casting. This means that you do not need to spend soul points to cast these, as the spell has already been powered. Each may be used but a single time, however when memorizing spells it is possible to memorize the same spell multiple times.
This may not be used for ceremonial spells, or any spell which requires a material component. Additionally the process may not be used again so long as you have any currently memorized spells. Wizards with this power typically choose a time before the rising of the Blue Moon, so that their power will be replenished after the process. The wise wizard will do this in an aligned aura or other such space that improves their spellcasting.
