The monks of the Silver Mountain practice a demanding form of spiritual training. Each meditates under the cold, crushing flow of a waterfall - until either passing out or being able to recite the great truths of their order one hundred times.
Prerequisite: Must pass the trial of the waterfall, failing to do so instead counts as a season practicing Concentration
Initiate: May ignore an additional bane for poor circumstances when using Concentration. Soul Points increased by 2.
Heroic: Soul Points increased by an additional 3, for a total of 5.
Additionally the practitioner may attempt to disbelieve illusions without needing to stake a consequence on failure. Such is their singular focus on truth that the monk may shatter illusions with a touch. This costs Soul Points as if they were attempting to invoke a spell equal to the magnitude of the illusion, with an effective Attunement based on their ranks in Concentration.
Attempting this against something which is not illusory costs Soul Points as would shattering a 1st magnitude illusion, but they are otherwise wasted. However, an illusion which has been shattered need not be disbelieved by every individual, its power over all present is dismissed.
